Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join our expanding clinical faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing academic division committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding outpatient and inpatient care for patients with a broad spectrum of rheumatic diseases.
Participate in the growth of the Arthritis Center, enhancing patient access and supporting NYP’s musculoskeletal service line.
Engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Collaborate on clinical and translational research initiatives or quality improvement programs.
Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to optimize clinic operations and patient experience.

MD or equivalent medical degree.
Board certification in Internal Medicine.
Board eligibility or certification in Rheumatology.
Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
Strong clinical acumen and dedication to compassionate, evidence-based care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
