The Department of Orthopedic Surgery is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to provide non-operative arthritis and comprehensive musculoskeletal (MSK) care. This position will be expected to help build and start new clinical programs in our care pathways. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the diagnoses and treatment of arthritis and spinal pathologies. This position includes participation in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities associated with an academic appointment.

From accurate diagnosis, to development of a personalized treatment plan and thorough post-operative follow-up, we work hard to ensure that every patient has the best possible outcome. Our orthopedic surgeons have extensive training, experience and expertise in the treatment of diseases, abnormalities and deformities of the musculoskeletal system.
The applicant should be comfortable performing ultrasound guided and possibly fluoroscopic injections of the hip and spine. Experience in performing procedures such as epidural injections, facet joint injections, hip joint injections is expected. Specialty training in musculoskeletal medicine or arthritis is preferred.
The schedule will be 4 days/week seeing 20-25 patients with 1 academic/administrative day and offers a competitive compensation package. A radiology suite is available in clinic and you will work closely with physical therapy available on-site in addition to 10 Advanced Care Providers and 12 orthopedic surgeons (joints, spine, sports medicine, foot/ankle). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great organization and practice that will allow the PM&R provider to build this program in partnership with the Department Chair potentially leading to additional future hires in this field.
