Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidate must demonstrate excellent qualifications and clinical care and must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical or orthopaedic basic science research and will be dependent on the candidates interests and independent support.
Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician Educator track. Mid-career applicants are encouraged. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Position will require more than 75% Pediatric care with a focus on spine.
