The Yale School of Medicine and the Yale-New Haven Health System are now seeking a dynamic and accomplished radiologist to lead our Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK) Section. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the future of academic musculoskeletal radiology on the national stage by overseeing services and research in this field within one of the largest hospitals in the US and at one of the most prestigious Universities within the country. The Section of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging is made up of seven full-time MSK trained radiologists. Radiologists and staff are highly trained and subspecialized to offer the best care to our patients. We work closely with the orthopedic, rheumatology and oncology colleagues providing a multidisciplinary approach to patients with musculoskeletal diseases.
Clinical Direction
Yale Musculoskeletal Imaging performs a complete and comprehensive range of imaging from plain film to CT, and MRI. Our service covers a variety of MSK disorders including trauma, arthritis, joint replacements, pediatrics, foot and ankle, spine, and sports medicine. We perform therapeutic and diagnostic injections in the form of MR arthrography. We have developed a large MSK interventional service in which we perform bone and soft tissues biopsies as well as bone marrow aspirations. The vast majority of our biopsies are performed with our nursing staff under moderate sedation to provide optimal comfort for our patients.

Education
Our faculty have a strong commitment to education which is practiced with lectures and clinical rotations for both the medical students at Yale University School of Medicine and radiology residents at Yale-New Haven Hospital. There is a dedicated MSK imaging fellowship which hosts three fellows per year.
