The Department of Radiology seeks an ABR board eligible/certified radiologist for a faculty position in the Section of Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. The radiologist would provide interpretations for all imaging related to the musculoskeletal system. These include radiograph interpretations, image guided joint injections and aspirations, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and computed tomography. Musculoskeletal fellowship training or prior experience in musculoskeletal imaging is required to join an expanding program that includes affiliated community hospitals and imaging centers. Research opportunities abound, including research in Artificial Intelligence and Informatics. There is extensive case material through our integrated R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. There are also ample teaching activities with our residents, medical students, and musculoskeletal fellows.
Appointments to the School of Medicine will be made at an academic level appropriate for the candidate’s experience. Applicants must meet the requirements for Maryland licensure. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are proudly offered. Faculty rank is commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience. Salary range for faculty would be starting at the 50th percentile for AAARAD with a range across all ranks. Base Salary range $375,000-$455,000 with a novel clinical pay incentive program for exceeding performance targets.
