The University of TennesseeHealth Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgeryand Biomedical Engineering is accepting applications for a full-time AssociateProfessor to Professor level.
This is a tenure track position. Academic rank at the time of appointment iscommensurate with experience and credentials.
This position will have ajoint appointment in the Department of Genetics, Genomics, and Informatics andserve as Associate Director of the Center for Integrative and TranslationalGenomics (CITG).
The candidate must maintain anactive research laboratory, pursue extramural funding, and publish in the areaof systems Genetics of Skeletal Development and Maintenance.
Must have a history ofcollaborative efforts, mentoring, strong publications, and extramural researchsupport to qualify for the rank of Professor.Successful candidates are expected to be terminally credentialed (i.e.,Ph.D., MD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution of higher education.Candidates should have demonstrated the potential for establishing anindependent research program.
