Academic Joint Replacement Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, is seeking to hire a Board-Eligible or Certified, Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic surgeon in Hip and Knee Joint Replacement to start no later than September 2021. Qualified applicants must have demonstrated clinical expertise and have demonstrated the ability to perform quality basic scientific or clinical research.  Candidates must have a MD, and be board-eligible or board-certified. A fellowship in adult reconstruction is expected as well as evidence of academic productivity. Training and exposure in the broad range of surgical techniques is preferable, particularly as it relates to primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, trauma, infection, and rapid recovery
