The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Machine Learning Scientist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, Full Professor in the In-Residence or Adjunct series depending on qualifications and interests.
Faculty are expected to develop a research program in the area of one's specialty focus. Responsibilities include developing an independent program of image processing machine/deep learning with multi-modality imaging to study the musculoskeletal as well as other organ systems. Responsibilities also include collaboration with researchers in the Center for Digital Health Innovation as well as Radiology. Faculty are required to teach residents, fellows, medical students, and graduate students in the Masters of Science in Biomedical Imaging program.
The position requires a PhD degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years in post-doctoral training in biomedical image processing using multi-modality images, with a preference for the area of musculoskeletal imaging. The candidate must have experience in Machine/Deep Learning applied to Biomedical Imaging.
