Orthopaedics is ranked #1 in California and #5 in the nation. We are recruiting for an Orthopaedics faculty member specializing in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (non-operative). An ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in resident education and research.
We are seeking candidates to join our busy faculty team in the Department of Orthopaedics. CSMC is a 915-bed academic center with state-of-the-art surgical facilities and an accredited orthopaedic residency program and an accredited orthopaedic trauma fellowship.
The position will include clinical, teaching and research expectations. The strength of the program arises from a multi-disciplinary team of experts that includes more than 117 orthopaedic surgeons and non-operative physicians in the department, many of whom hold national positions of leadership. We provide the full spectrum of care with specialized expertise in joint replacement, oncology, osteoporosis, pediatric, scoliosis, adult spine, trauma, limb reconstruction, and joint preservation.

Qualifications:
• MD/DO or MD/PhD
• Residency training in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics with an additional fellowship in sports medicine (CAQ Sports Medicine)
• Eligibility and/or Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine or American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent
• Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License
• Eligibility for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Medical Staff Membership
• Eligibility for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Professorial Series

Our compensation philosophy:
We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $269,047 – $426,396 total cash compensation
