Phase 2 of the Wisconsin Biotech hub was announced in July 2024, resulting in $49 million in additional funding to help drive transformative medical innovation, workforce development and critical job growth across Wisconsin. One of the three technology projects of this proposal is the Wisconsin Health Data Hub, led by researchers from the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health.
