WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to meet the growing demand for Physiatry (PM&R) services at our Franciscan Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Lafayette location in Lafayette, IN.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have experience with general rehab, neuro rehab and spine rehab. Experience with injections for migraine/spasticity management is preferred or must be willing to learn. Candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment and be team oriented. The candidate will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Candidate will also have a desire to develop strong ties with patients and the community in which they serve.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• Flexible full-time schedule

• No call expectation

• Assist in the initial screening and assessment for potential admissions to AIR as well as provide some outreach to SNFs and ECFs.

• Average outpatient volume: 12 - 15 patients per day

• Average inpatient volume: 15 - 18 patients per day

• Areas of interest

  • Interventional Pain Management

  • Brain injury/post-concussion syndrome rehabilitation

  • Spasticity management

  • Musculoskeletal rehabilitation

  • Stroke rehabilitation

  • Neuromuscular rehabilitation (Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular diseases)

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Required

• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
