Position Summary The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, seeks applications for a full-time non-tenure track clinical faculty position in Orthopaedic Surgery. In conjunction with the role of a practicing physician in clinical settings, faculty will provide direct and observational teaching to residents and medical students, while fostering the development of future leaders in Orthopaedic care.

- Direct patient care focusing on Orthopaedic Hand conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Supervision, instruction, and training of residents and medical/podiatry students in both clinical and surgical settings.
- Development and enhancement of the Orthopaedic Hand curriculum to ensure comprehensive education for trainees.
- Participation in outpatient clinics within Ambulatory settings, performing inpatient procedures, and conducting hospital rounds for Orthopaedic Hand patients.
- Provide timely and constructive evaluations for medical student and resident performances, as mandated by associated accrediting agencies.
- Engage actively in the academic functions of the department, including research initiatives, conferences, and community outreach.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
