Assistant Professor (WOT) - Orthopaedic Spine Service - Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington, in Seattle, has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time academic orthopaedic spine surgeon. This position will be based at Harborview Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center ? the Northwest Hospital and Montlake Campuses. Appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level (without tenure due to funding). Responsibilities include resident and fellow education, medical student teaching, and the development of a busy clinical practice. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to develop a robust program in clinical, educational methodologies, or basic science research.
