The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio is a 555-bed Community Teaching hospital that offers 1 PGY2 Ambulatory Care position.  At The Christ Hospital, you will encounter a residency experience that is individualized and structured around you.  Our preceptors are dedicated clinicians with an enthusiasm for residency training.  You will be challenged to strengthen your clinical knowledge, gain research experience and develop numerous skills such as leadership, communication, and time management.  

Required Rotations (6; vary in length):  Orientation, Primary Care I (3 months), Primary Care II (3 months), Anticoagulation and LVAD/HF Clinic (every Thursday during required rotations), Internal Medicine Clinic (1 month), Research

Longitudinal Rotations:  Population Health, Education and Communication, Practice Management

Elective Rotations (choose 3): Oral oncolytic clinic, Primary Care III, Emergency Medicine, Pain/Musculoskeletal clinic, Academia, Transplant, Apothecary, Administration/Management

Teaching Opportunities:

• Optional Teaching Certificate Program at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy
• Precepting experience with IPPE and APPE students on rotation
• 2 Pharmacy Grand Rounds Presentations
• Therapeutic Controversy

1.  Graduate of an ASHP-accredited Residency

2.  Eligible for pharmacist licensure in Ohio and Kentucky

3.  US citizen or legal resident

4.  Meets criteria for employment at The Christ Hospital, including a negative drug and tobacco screen and vaccine requirements
