As a Staff Orthopedic Surgeon, you will be charged with delivering the best possible orthopedic care to our Veteran patients. Research interest is encouraged, but not required. Dedicated time may be set aside for research for qualified applicants. Teaching is an integral part of our mission. An academic appointment with our affiliates is possible. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Surgical procedures, with required expertise in all areas of Orthopedics including: arthritis disorders, degenerative arthritis of shoulder and knee, injuries and metastatic lesions of the musculoskeletal system, knee injuries, shoulder injuries, hip injuries, foot and ankle injuries, shoulder surgery, hand surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, and other general orthopedic surgeries and joint procedures performed by general or specialty orthopedic surgeons.
Supervision/teaching of surgical residents.
Providing consultation in an outpatient clinic setting and on inpatient wards.
Participation in Medical Center committees.
Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Surgery or Chief of Staff.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, on-call coverage for weeknights/weekends shared by group, handled by phone with on-site rounds as needed.

Candidates must be: 1) US Citizen or PRA, 2) Trained in Orthopedic Surgery and 3) Have a full, unrestricted medical license in any State Preferred experience: Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
