We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Gastroenterology team at the Saxony Hospital in Fishers, IN!

Position Details:

• Full-time, Day Shift 
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • No nights, weekends, holidays, or call
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities 
• Join a large and supportive team of 70 Physicians and 20 APPs

Responsibilities: 

• Inpatient GI consults 
• Outpatient post-hospital discharge clinic 
• Outpatient urgent GI consults in clinic 
• No procedural requirements 
• Provider must be comfortable working autonomously 

Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree required
• PA, FNP, or ACNP certification required
• 2+ years of APP experience, preferably practicing in the inpatient setting, required  
  • Hospitalist, Inpatient specialty medicine, or GI experience highly preferred 
• APP must be comfortable practicing independently, highly intelligent and able to help build this new inpatient service at IUH Saxony 
• Ideal candidates are flexible team players, committed to providing excellent evidence-based care, and have strong communication skills
