**This is a Limited Appointment position with a duration of one year**This position is under the supervision of Dr. Kelsey Collins (PI) in the Orthopaedic Research Labs within the UCSF Musculoskeletal Center. The incumbent will participate in a preclinical research project directed at understanding the molecular communication that occurs between muscle, fat and bone in healthy aging and disease. Incumbent will be responsible for transgenic mouse colony organization and maintenance, in addition to performing general molecular and cellular biological experiments across different tissue and cell types.
