The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Joint Replacement Surgeon with demonstrated commitment to patient care and enthusiasm for creating an inclusive learning and working environment. All candidates must have completed at least one year of fellowship, have an interest in developing a clinical practice, contribute to research endeavors, and participate in our resident/fellowship education program. This position is primarily based at Howard County General Hospital and working at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the outpatient clinic in Columbia, MD. This position will also be credentialed at all regional ambulatory surgery centers.
Examples of Work Performed: The candidate will provide medical services in both the inpatient and outpatient environments. Clinical responsibilities include actively participating in continued growth of the Hand Surgery programs at the JHU SOM. Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of Orthopedic Surgery residents, fellows, and medical students. Research responsibilities include actively pursuing and participating in research activities as well as mentoring residents and other faculty in research endeavors. Required to take emergency call.
