University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) is a non-profit organization seeking driven individuals in both clinical and non-clinical areas to help transform health and medicine. Headquartered in Minneapolis, our organization employs more than 1,200 physicians, 300 advanced practice providers and 2,200 health professionals and staff throughout Minnesota and beyond.

Successful candidates are encouraged to have an independent, externally funded, and balanced scholarly research program, evidence of conducting rigorous and innovative research, a strong track record of publications and scholarly activities, and will participate in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) and Program in Health Disparities Research (PHDR) projects and programs, and instruct medical and public health students and residents. Hire will be at Assistant or Associate Professor level, tenure-track or tenured, depending upon qualifications. Candidates seeking the rank of Tenured Associate Professor must have an established academic track record commiserate with this rank and the ability to qualify for appointment as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Job Description:

• 70% effort; The successful candidate will be encouraged to assume major responsibility for coordinating their ongoing externally funded health-related research projects (e.g. NIH).Benefits Highlights

• Candidate is encouraged to have paid effort as either Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on NIH grants or equivalent funding.
