Postdoctoral Fellow
Postdoctoral positions are available at the Department of Reconstructive Sciences in Farmington, Connecticut, USA, through NIH funded program. The main research focus of Dr. Kalajzic laboratory is stem cell biology and understanding mechanism of osteogenesis in bone repair. Studies will involve using transgenic and knockout mice in regulation of osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells during fracture healing and other models of bone injury. One of the projects is addressing signaling mechanisms between the neuroscience and bone biology. Responsibilities will include discussion and planning of experimental designs, completion of experiments using established in vitro and in vivo models, presentation of data within institution and at international conferences and prepa
