The successful applicant will have a strong publishing record in orthopaedic biomechanics or a photonics discipline. It is not expected that candidates will have expertise in all areas needed to carry the project forward. Our highly interdisciplinary research group provides extensive opportunities for training and collaboration. Ideal candidates should have experience in at least some of the following areas:
- Raman assessments of biologics tissues
- Mechanical/biochemical characterizations of musculoskeletal connective tissues
- Matlab based data processing
- Ex vivo tissue culture model systems
