The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank.  The successful appointees will have responsibilities including interpretation of conventional radiography and fluoroscopy, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging studies.  The section also performs a variety of interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopic, sonographic and CT guidance, including but not limited to joint injections and aspirations, arthrograms, and biopsies.  We are a Level 1 Trauma Center as well as a referral center for orthopedic oncology patients.  Participation in a variety of multidisciplinary conferences (e.g., orthopedic oncology, sports medicine, and rheumatology services) is expected.  Other duties will include teaching and supervision of fellows, residents and students, and scholarly activity.  Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.  We especially welcome applicants with musculoskeletal ultrasound experience.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in radiology, and 4) have completed a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship or similar training.
