Assistant / Associate Professor Position
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of California, San Francisco, is recruiting a full-time Podiatrist. This position will be at the Assistant or Associate level in the Health Science Clinical series commensurate with experience; salary negotiable.
The incumbent will be expected to collaborate in clinical and/or basic research as well as publish subsequent results in peer reviewed journals. Clinical responsibilities will emphasize the area of the foot, including limb salvage, wound care, and reconstructive surgery. The selected individual will also be responsible for and provide an integral role to teach clinically relevant topics for residents as well as medical students and fellows.
Associate level applications will have demonstrated involvement in quality research through accepted or published writings in peer reviewed journals and have prior teaching evaluations.
Requirements:
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
• Completed a fully accredited Podiatric residency approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
• A valid California Podiatry license will be required as a condition of employment.
• Demonstrated experience in management of foot problems required.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical management of foot problems required.
