Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Emergency Radiology(Non-ACGME) to join our Hershey, PA campus.

This is a one-year subspecialty-training program for ABR-eligible or BC radiologists who have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree and who have completed an accredited residency in diagnostic radiology.

Trainees will receive comprehensive experience in all facets of imaging in the Emergency Setting, including dedicated rotations in neuroimaging, musculoskeletal, chest and abdominal imaging tailored to the unique environment of the Emergency Department and Level-1 Trauma Center. Fellows will be primarily supervised by dedicated faculty in ER, Neuroradiology, Pediatric Radiology and Abdominal Imaging, and will also have opportunities to teach and supervise diagnostic and integrated DR/IR residents and other trainees, including medical students. 

In addition to the highly varied and fast-paced clinical environment, scholarly work will also be encouraged and supported. Opportunities to perform clinical research and practice quality improvement projects abound in our academic medical center.

Graduates of this fellowship will be true "multi-specialists," with a unique blend of skills and competencies, including a high degree of facility for practice in the acute / emergency care and Trauma setting. ER-trained fellows are in high demand currently for both community and academic practices, including our own.

The position is limited to US Citizens and Permanent Residents at this time, as we cannot provide support for training visas.

What we're seeking:

M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent

Completion of accredited residency program

Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania

BC/BE in Radiology

Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
