The Research Assistant 2 will work directly under the supervision of Principal Investigator Ronen Schweitzer, PhD in the OHSU Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. Research in the Schweitzer lab is focused on Tendon and Ligament Development and maturation. The Research Assistant 2 will combine maintaining key resources for the lab and running an independent project. These roles will involve on the one hand maintenance of the mouse colony and ordering and maintaining the lab reagents, and on the other analysis of mouse mutants through the use of histology, immunohistochemistry and microscopy and various molecular approaches.
