In this role, you will be responsible for achieving process development milestones on one to two new product introductions (NPI's). You will work collaboratively within a team of engineers tasked with the selection, validation and verification of novel processes used to manufacture catheters, guidewires and implantable neurovascular devices.
You will have responsibility for manufacturing equipment design, specification, procurement and set-up. Additionally, you will be responsible for insuring that the equipment meets internal customer needs.

What You Will Do
Specify equipment parameters required to meet the requirements of internal customers, process parameters and finished goods specifications.
Identify external partners capable of co-developing automated manufacturing equipment.
Provide clear direction on projects and define priorities for the team.
Lead the development and installation of new equipment.
Work with EH&S and IE partners to ensure that all equipment meets internal and external safety and ergonomics requirements.
You will successfully determine project scope, scale, resource & financial requirements etc. for each new piece of equipment.
You will collaborate with counterparts in the broader organization on common NPI issues and resolutions.
You will establish priorities imparting a sense of urgency and importance to effectively deliver new equipment/processes per quality, cost and time constraints.
What You Need (Required)
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
2+ years' technical experience in an equipment design/development role.
Proficiency with CAD, reading and interpreting equipment drawings and specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude including the ability to troubleshoot complexed manufacturing equipment.
