Tell me about the role:
The Multi-Modality Technologist position provides the essential service of generating both Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) images of the body for diagnostic purposes with diagnostic imaging equipment, as directed by Radiologists, in accordance with the company policies and procedure manuals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities, in this job you will:
Prepares and checks patients prior to MRI/CT procedure.
Acquires patient questionnaire, chart, data/requisition and reviews all to determine contraindication of having MRI/CT examination.
Verifies and validates patient screening safety form. Performs MRI/CT procedures required per protocol and performs daily QA.
Performs VNA punctures and maintains competencies.
Educates patients regarding MRI/CT procedures, equipment and exam.
Ensures patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
May assist with scheduling of patients as needed.
Administers proper contrast related to patient having MRI/CT exam.
Acquires, archives, transmits and prints images via PACS. When applicable, completes after hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork.
Immediately reports any malfunctions; observes potential equipment dysfunctions and reports problems or calls for service.
Maintains available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
Learns new technical information and skills.
May be required to rotate through all imaging modalities, sites, and/or locations.
Completion of course in Radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the State of California.
ARRT (MR) and (CT) Certification.
Fluoroscopy license and GE 1.5HDX experience with a strong musculoskeletal background preferred
Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required and/or the American Red Cross
Minimum one year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist and experience in both MRI and CT imaging modalities preferred
