The Senior Manager Accounting Quality & Integration leads a team of senior finance professionals with the mission to:
Set standards for accounting operations (e.g., reconciliations), which are maintained in the A2R and P2P operational teams of Shared Service Center (SSC)
Implement accounting simplifications, changes and procedures in alignment to internal and external accounting policies and standards
Train staff within and outside the SSC in relevant accounting procedures and processes
Build up technical accounting capability to be leveraged within and outside the SSC
Ensure a seamless integration and migrations of business and other operations into the SSC, by:
Being a point of contact
Defining and communicating standards
Coordinating program management on the side of the SSC
The Senior Manager Accounting Quality & Integration reports to the SSC Site Lead.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
The Senior Manager Accounting Quality & Integration performs advanced-level and managerial responsibilities as required to support the Shared Service model. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Create a roadmap for technology adoption to simplify and standardize accounting
Identifies opportunities to rationalize volume of transactions and accounts
Drives initiatives to reduce complexity and inconsistency in accounting procedures
Leads consolidation of accounting processes in the SSC
Builds a team for technical Accounting (e.g., acquisitions, leases, pension, etc.)
Ensures strong collaboration and alignment with Corporate functions and stakeholders
