What you will do:
Own development strategy, estimation, planning, designing and implementation of building and maintaining software product and ensure traceability back to the system requirements and features in medical devices domain
Produce development documentation that meets the SDLC requirements and comply to quality procedures
Leverage relevant latest technologies to excel product offering and performance
Troubleshoot any field escalations / issues, provide optimal solutions and recommendation for prevention
Mentor and train the team members technically to improve product quality
Peer reviews and provide feedback on all project outcomes
Actively support the team to mitigate impediments and achieve sprint / release goals
Effective communication and collaboration with cross functional teams
Support multiple projects in parallel
Lead in a global environment
What you need:
Strong hold on Architecture Designing, Design Patterns & UML
Good exposure in multi-tiered application development and databases
Hands on experience in Digital signal processing - audio / video and image processing
Knowledge of GDI+, DirectX/DirectShow and XLINQ.
Experience in writing COM interoperability and wrapper applications in C# and C++
Knowledge of Network communication and protocols
Knowledge of third-party tools like Nunit, NCover, Mock, Jira, ANTS etc.
Experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, docker etc.
Good understanding and experience of source control management systems - Bitbucket, TFS, SVN etc.
Static/dynamic analysis, multi-threading, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing software
Strong troubleshooting skills, anticipates bottlenecks, proactive identification of upcoming milestones / risks / issues and mitigation
Ability to take technical leadership & ownership of different product deliverables for the team
Flexible to overlap couple of hours with US time zone
Familiarity with Medical domain standards (DICOM, EMR, HL7 etc.) & FDA requirements
Understanding of application verification practices, automation Tools (CodedUI / Selenium) is a plus
Working experience with Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, LEAN, PP
Excellent Written/Verbal communication skills, fluent in speaking English
Strong interpersonal skills and people influencing skills
Open and quick to learn and explore new tools and technologies
Education: Master's OR Bachelor's degree (B.S) OR equivalent in related field
Experience: 7 - 9 years of total experience in software engineering discipline, medical device experience preferred
