What You Will Do
You will verify that the design of new products are safe and effective and meet the requirements set forth by the functional specifications for the device. These verifications may include tests on unit level, component level, system level, white box, black box, and gray box testing.
You will also:
Utilize your depth of understanding in the fundamentals of Software test discipline.
Critically apply engineering design principles (software architecture) and identifies areas of weakness and targets those areas in your testing.
Work with the automation team to ensure test automation scripts are available following the defined standards.
Collaborate with developers/other teams and QA leads to improve testability, automation, and tools.
Utilize your strong analytical skills to analyze, troubleshoot problems/observations and work with different teams to determine root cause identification and resolution.
Use your understanding of windows OS and concepts.
Perform your best at understanding unit testing, automation and developing generic solutions.
Use multiple system level debugging tools like wire shark, process explorer, and other debugger tools.
Conduct code reviews, with constant high-quality code review feedback for the code written by software developers.
Provide technical guidance and direction to team members to adherence to coding, quality, functionality, performance, scalability, and on-time delivery standards.
Design and develop reusable test protocols of high complexity and quality, while considering long term usability when designing the testcases.
Utilize your experience in writing, debugging and evaluating code in C/C++, C# and or python.
Perform white box, integration, system level testing as needed.
Drive test decisions for a program or system of products.
Be responsible for the testing on an entire project/product or system of products and leads the expansion of test coverage and advancement in their area of expertise.
Use your previous hands-on experience in validation of AI/ML algorithms-based solutions using Automated / Manual testing.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related discipline
2+ years of related experience
What We Would Love That You Have (Preferred)
Strong background with the use of tools and programming languages: JIRA, GIT (Using SourceTree), PTC Integrity, C# / WPF, C++, Visual Studio, Agile (Doc Control), Any Automated UI Test Software, Python, SQL, LabView.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum software development.
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (IEC62304).
Excellent analytical skills.
