What you will do
This position will oversee the strategy development and execution of digital sales training and surgeon educational programs and events. This role will also assist in shaping "best-in-class" digital educational programs and events that optimize business success, utilizing best practice training, performance consulting techniques, adult learning concepts and facilitation skills and materials. This role will leverage digital technology platforms, such as Blueprint™ software, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and other digital media to supplement and transform traditional medical education.
Build and implement long-term strategy for digital Medical Education platforms and programs.
Organize and execute in-class and/or virtual courses.
Collaborate with sales and surgeons to define Medical Education unmet needs and opportunities for digital transformation
Design and develop learning objectives, curriculum and agendas based on voice of customer
Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to establish event objectives and ensure events are successful and delivered effectively and efficiently while exceeding the needs and expectations of attendees.
Collaborate with surgeon partners on the delivery of programs to ensure quality training and education.
Develop positive, productive and collaborative relationships with surgeon partners, marketing, sales, vendors and other key stakeholders.
Support the National and Regional educational events onsite as needed; Travel as needed to support, lead or fulfill event requirements.
What you need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of work experience required
Strong technical competency and know-how
Ability to think strategically and creatively while operating in an undefined space
Demonstrated experience in design thinking and innovation when applied to researching and implementing new technologies
Ability to capture and understand customer and business needs
Strong capability to manage and lead multiple projects and work across multiple disciplines and facilities
Strong Leadership Skills with the ability to succeed through others
Excellent planning, organization, time management and analytical skills
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with high-level surgeon consultants, top tier industry experts, meeting attendees from many areas of the healthcare profession, and outside vendors
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong decision-making, verbal, written communication, and attention to detail
Ability to build collaborative relationships with a strong focus on cooperation/teamwork to develop program strategies
Ability to travel up to 35%
