The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Musculoskeletal Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in musculoskeletal radiology, musculoskeletal trauma imaging, and musculoskeletal procedures. Obligations will include clinical work primarily at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites.
The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, completion of fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging (completed by appointment start date), and expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. These requirements are to be met by the time of the faculty appointment start date.
