This individual is responsible for supporting agents and distributors in the sales of the designated product or grouping of products but also responsabile directly for the process of selling which involves contacting new potential customers, identifying their needs, persuading them that our Stryker products can best satisfy those needs; closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions; and providing after-sales service and support to include case cover in theater.
Responsible for the budget for its zone, to hit sales targets and maintain profitability.
Collaboration in the development of the annual sales plan for his area.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
Selling /demonstrating medical equipment within the theatre and clinical environment, focus on Stryker Joint Replacement core portfolio and Mako Smartrobotics business.
Customer service / acquisition of new customers
Planning, executing and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee achieving budget. This encompasses in particular:
Customer care for (managerial) physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
Organizing and conducting trainings, surgical/theatre participation, view surgeries and workshops
Conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of in-house guidelines, up to contract conclusion
Coordination of the distribution and logistics of products. (Short and Long terms consigments managment, Kits ...) with the support of the related manager and Marketing.
Controlling all the resources and materials of his related sales area.
Regular reporting to Sales Managers, on the evolution of the sales, and adaptation to the circumstances of the market.
Identification of local KOLs, proposition of local action plans
Knowledge of the range of products and their surgical techniques
Follow up on the company´s price policy.
Monthly sales report for direct superior on the evolution of the sales
To take responsibility for product market withdrawal, phase out or recalls.
Pursuit of the Company Policy in aspects such as ethics and conduct
To demonstrate Mako applications to potential users within the account and upsell the Hip & Knee portfolio to all customers
Grow the utilization of the Mako system by increasing volume with new potential surgeons.
Preferably training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences, economics or the like
Native language Spanish and English (C1 level)
Proven performance 3-5 years in Sales or Marketing.
Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations required
Experience in Orthopaedics is desirable.
Experience in hospital sales is essential.
Experience in operating theater sales is preferable.
