What you will do
The primary focus of responsibilities will be on integrations with Stryker's HR applications including Workday HCM. The ideal candidate will demonstrate both functional and strong technical understanding of Workday. The scope of responsibilities spans all activities in the service lifecycle from conception to retirement for applications that provide services to the identified business functions. This primarily includes work that is executed through projects and enhancement releases but may also include support and on-going management activities. The IT Technical Solution Lead needs to be able to produce detailed technical documents, configure and/or develop within Workday and understand the overall design and architecture of a platform and deliver the end-to-end technical solution. The candidate will play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).
What you need:
Responsible for overall technical implementation and support of Workday HCM and other assigned HR applications.
Gather complex business requirements related to Human Capital Management, Payroll, Compensation, and other HR modules, execute fit/gap analysis, build, test, migrate and maintain integrations in Workday
Analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot HR information systems and integrations.
Manage multiple phases of testing, to include writing test plans and test scripts, performing system testing, and supporting user testing.
Participate drafting Business Requirement Document s(BRDs) and Technical Specifications.
Partnering with stakeholders to analyze & prioritize system & process enhancement opportunities.
Execute responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
Execute on special projects as assigned by manager.
Education & special trainings:
Bachelor's degree required
Qualifications & experience:
Requires 8+ years of experience in IT with minimum 4 or more years' experience with Workday HCM.
Workday Integrations Certification or demonstrated equivalent competencies
Experience in global Workday implementation programs in support of HCM (Human Capital Management); including Workday design, build and deployment experience.
4 years of experience with Workday Integration types including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
4 years of experience creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
4 years integrating systems with third-party service vendors; Good understanding of Workday security.
Experience building and debugging Custom Reports, EIB's, Connectors, Document Transforms, XSLT, and Workday Studio.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of SDLC concepts, framework, and deliverables.
Strong background in systems, implementations, integrations, configuration, and support
Expertise in data management, business process and SaaS environments.
Functional knowledge in Human Resources with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Azure DevOps experience is plus.
Agile experience is plus.
