The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a highly competent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Clinical Subjects Associate to support the research efforts of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Service. The position requires an individual who values high quality customer service, contributes to a positive work environment, and delivers value added to the work environment.

The incumbent will perform a variety of office support functions including:

• Screen potential research subjects for various projects
• Approach potential research subjects, explain research protocol, and obtain patient consent for related clinical research projects
• Perform phone calls to patients for screening, consent, and follow-up
• Schedule trial related procedures
• Conduct in-person patient visits when appropriate, permitted and safe
• Enter patient research data into an electronic data entry system
• Collect patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects
• Collect specimens and monitor patients
• Assist with presentation preparation of outlines, handouts, slides, graphs and other presentation materials
• Handle confidential data with discretion at all time
• Assist with special projects and tasks as needed

• Position requires a Bachelor's Degree
• Position requires strong verbal and written communication expertise, execellent interpersonal capabilities, and robust organizational skills including attention to detail
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Reasonable knowledge of University policies and procedures

Experience using MiChart and Redcap preferred; experience with conducting patient visits for the purposes of research preferred.

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m with flexibility for early and late meetings and patient enrollments
