The Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking an experienced surgeon to serve as the Chief of Orthopaedics Surgery at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut. The incoming candidate is expected to be a known and respected clinician and academic leader with a history of success in a leadership role, preferably at an academic medical center.
The ideal candidate must be board-certified in orthopaedics. Clinical expertise in total joints is preferred, due to a defined surgical need.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Faculty Role
The Yale School of Medicine is also seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon for a faculty role in beautiful Greenwich, Connecticut. The qualified candidate will have fellowship training, at least 5–10 years of experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities. This is a wonderful opportunity for the incoming surgeon to establish himself or herself and build a practice for a needed specialty in the local community.
Affiliation with a highly reputable system + the support to build your practice and further develop a robust program at the local hospital
Predominantly clinical role with the opportunity to teach and participate in additional academic endeavors
Balance of time spent in the OR and seeing patients in an outpatient setting
Ability to stay connected to the main campus remotely or on-site
Practice in a phenomenal state-of-the-art office space with ample free parking—only 15 minutes from the hospital
Excellent referral and interdisciplinary collaboration base
