Adult Reconstructive Surgeon Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Click here for full position/practice profile The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking applicants for the position of Academic Adult Reconstructive Surgeon based at University Medical Center, our primary teaching hospital, and Texas Tech Physicians (TTP). With specialty clinics in multiple orthopaedic areas, our expert doctors at TTP utilize the latest treatment options to help effectively treat and manage all orthopaedic conditions and injuries. Highlights -Provide operative and non-operative care for patients with diseases and injuries of the hip & knee as well as other related traumatic injuries. -Maintain schedule to include a minimum of 2 operative days and 2.5 clinic days per week. -3-4 days per month of general ortho call. -Participate in resident education through clinical rotations, conferences, journal club and --other teaching requirements for the Department’s Residency Program -Conduct research activities individually or in collaboration with other faculty and/or residents. -Competitive salary along with generous state benefits package is available including PTO, medical, dental and disability insurance, as well as retirement.
