![]() Ellison Endowed Chair Faculty Position The Larry Ellison Endowed Chair will support research and teaching in the area of musculoskeletal health (MSK) in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the UC Davis Health School of Medicine. The Department seeks candidates with a track-record of excellence and leadership in research at an academic institution and a demonstrated ability to establish extramurally funded research programs as evidenced by receipt of significant funding from national agencies. The successful candidate will be expected to effectively interface with physicians and scientists, participate in collaborations within the UC Davis research community and ultimately build new translational research programs. We are recruiting for a Regular Ladder Rank (tenure track, full-time FTE) or Regular Ladder Rank (tenure-track)/in Residence split at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, commensurate with the level of experience and qualifications of the applicant. REQUIREMENTS Candidates must possess a terminal degree (Ph.D./M.D.). Evidence of success in obtaining Federally funded grants and/or contracts is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse community is also required. Additionally, the holder of the endowed chair will have the following responsibilities assigned:
