ABOUT THIS POSITION: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced REGISTERED NURSE to join UW Medicine's Bone and Joint Center, located at UW Roosevelt, in support of the Hand Service. The Registered Nurse will work with patients with a wide variety of orthopaedic disorders, ranging from simple fracture management to tumors of the bone and soft tissue and inflammatory diseases. The Registered Nurse will:
Work with Surgeons, Fellows, PA-Cs and Residents
Provide patient education, preoperative teaching and general nursing care
An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
Previous experience in outpatient nursing
Previous experience with orthopaedic patients
BSN or MSN
SCHEDULE: The Registered Nurse will work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. This is a no weekends, no holidays position.
TRAVEL: The Registered Nurse will provide care with one of the Surgeons who travels to Eastside Specialty Center in Bellevue. Some travel will be required.
