UW Medicine - Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery Service Line has an outstanding opportunity for a HEALTH SERVICES MANAGER of our SPORTS MEDICINE CENTER. This leader will be responsible for overall administrative management of the Sports Medical Center (Stadium Clinic) through operationalizing the University of Washington’s mission, vision and strategic goals. The Center is built upon a culture of "Patients are First" and is comprised of a state of the art, multi-disciplinary program that brings together Sports and Spine, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine Primary Care, Physical Therapy, UW Athletics and other disciplines.
As Health Services Manager, you will hire, supervise, and mentor clinic staff in such a way to create effective teamwork, plans, and implements programs to meet specific patient care needs; works to continually improve clinic operations and efficiency and ensures patient safety. You will prepare, evaluate, and manage financial reports and budget and be accountable for meeting service line goals, specific clinic goals and performance outcomes.
Leadership & Development
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or other related field
Minimum of four (4) years of successful management and leadership in an ambulatory clinic or hospital
Any equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify as equivalent education/experience
Clinic management experience with Sports Medicine
Demonstrated leadership experience, working collaboratively with medical leadership and staff
Demonstrated ability to manage the financial performance of the clinic
Demonstrated knowledge of ensuring compliance with billing policies
Demonstrated ability in process improvement to optimize clinic flow and operations
