The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston Medical Center is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified Arthroplasty surgeon to be the Chief of the Arthroplasty Service at the Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center. The Service Chief will lead all aspects of the clinical practice, educational programs and research activities of the Arthroplasty Service. We are looking for a leader for our successful arthroplasty program. Candidates should have an interest in revision surgery, complex and diverse patients, and the management of infection. The ideal candidate will have a national reputation in Arthroplasty, have demonstrated a track record in clinical and/or basic research, have demonstrated leadership skills, and be committed to teaching in a center with a commitment to safety. Proposed academic rank at the BU School of Medicine, salary, and support will be commensurate with experience, clinical productivity, and academic achievements.
