Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, In-Residence) Sports Medicine

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is recruiting for an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Physician.
Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching and research at two UCSD Medical Centers and at team physician duties for local and university sports teams.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
MD or DO
Completed a U.S. accredited residency training program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the time of application
Completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the time of hire
American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified or eligible
Have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
