Research Position to Study Vascularization in Bone Tissue Repair and Regeneration
University of Rochester Medical Center
A postdoc/research staff scientist position is available immediately in the Center for Musculoskeletal Research at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The successful candidate will participate in research program that involves using multiphoton microscopy and intravital imaging as a platform to study cellular and molecular mechanisms that orchestrate osteogenesis and angiogenesis during repair and regeneration. The project integrates bone tissue engineering, vascular biology, and skeletal biology with emphasis on blood vessel specification in regeneration. The candidate will utilize genetic, imaging and engineering models to study bone progenitor cells interaction with angiogenic cells.
