MedSport physical therapy provides expert, comprehensive treatment for all orthopaedic and sports-related injuries. Our clinicians are able to effectively evaluate and treat your functional limitations related to injury or disease and work closely with you and your doctor to create a personalized therapy program that will maximize the highest level of function with the best possible outcome.
Our team of orthopaedic physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, licensed athletic trainers and physical therapy assistants bring their expertise directly to you at each visit to provide you with optimum and thorough care.
Our 4 MedSport locations offer physical therapy spaces with a full range of services. This current position is located at the MedSport Ice Cube location and we are actively seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-oriented individual who will share in the goal of creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and employees.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide planned physical therapy treatment for patients under the supervision and direction of our team of Physical Therapists. You will work directly with patients to monitor their response to treatment and provide updated health reports to the PTs of their progress. Our patients have access to state of the art equipment and therapy treatment. You will instruct patients in the use of this equipment and assist PTs in carrying out complex procedures and programs. In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to supervise and provide training to PTA students.

An Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
Physical Therapy Assistant License in the State of Michigan
Physical Therapist Assistant license from the State of Michigan is required.
Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 7:00PM. Actual work schedule to be determined by Supervisor.
