The Executive Director, Neurosciences and Orthopedics, will manage a complex set of services across the campuses, including inpatient units, ambulatory sites, clinical affiliation locations, the inpatient rehabilitation unit and infusion centers. The Executive Director will support an inter-professional team and patient centered approach to care delivery, create an environment in which collaboration is valued, and excellence in clinical care, education, and research is promoted and achieved. The Executive Director will lead strategy development and is responsible for effective utilization of all financial, material, and human resources, ensuring appropriate patient flow through the continuum of care, resulting in a high level of patient and employee satisfaction and clinical quality. The incumbent will promote an operation and culture focused on patient and family centered care and enhance a world class model of care signature.
The Executive Director will assume responsibility for all aspects of Neuroscience and Orthopedic nursing and patient services delivered by YNHH. The Executive Director will work collaboratively with the Vice President, Musculoskeletal & Neurosciences, Physicians in Chief, and the Senior Vice President of Nursing in a shared leadership model. A member of the senior team, the Executive Director will play a critical role in scaling inpatient and outpatient services to additional clinical partners across the region.
Bachelor’s and master’s degrees, one of which must be in Nursing.
Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in Neurosciences and/or Orthopedic leadership in an AMC or complex healthcare environment. Ambulatory experience preferred.
Successful experience with large facility development projects.
Executive leadership experience at a complex facility with leading edge patient care, customer service and research.
