The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is leading the transformation of healthcare through patient-centered outcomes research. The work of the Orthopaedic Trauma Clinical Research Team is enabling Inova to translate advances from clinical trials and outcomes research directly to patients, optimizing individual health and well-being.
The research team is seeking a Research Project Associate to support our lead clinical research coordinators in a high volume multi-centered clinical trial sponsored by the University of Maryland/funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute. In this position, the candidate will assist other research staff with consenting, conducting follow-up visits/surveys, collect and enter data into electronic databases, and help manage participant follow-up according to the study protocol. This individual will primarily be located in the outpatient setting and must be comfortable working independently.
