The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest and expertise in total joint surgery and trauma to be hired at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher, on the Academic or Master Clinician Track.
Responsibilities include patient care at Regions Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center) and affiliated training programs and clinical sites as needed. Academic responsibilities include full participation in overall departmental and interdisciplinary activities including teaching of medical students, orthopaedic residents and fellows, research, and service activities.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery with a required additional adult reconstruction fellowship. Preference will be given to candidates with dual fellowships in joints and trauma. The individual hired will also be employed full time in the University of Minnesota Physicians practice group and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota.
