We are recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider—Physician Assistant or ARNP—to partner with our orthopaedic surgeons on the inpatient Adult Reconstruction Service at Northwest Hospital and Medical Center. Duties and responsibilities will be to assist our 4 arthroplasty faculty in the care of both inpatient and outpatients who are undergoing orthopaedic surgery. The Advanced Practice Provider will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team that in addition to attending orthopaedic surgeons includes primary care and hospitalist services, rehabilitation physicians, orthopaedic residents, other advanced practice providers and nurses. Our APPs are given Teaching Associate positions within the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at UW and so will have similarly excellent employment benefits to those offered to our faculty. Positions are on an annual appointment (12 month appointment with annual renewal) and we are anticipating a start date in the summer or fall of 2019.
