Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH) in Orlando, Florida, is expanding farther into South East Florida by establishing a strategic partnership with Martin Health System (MHS) Martin Health System is accredited by The Joint Commission, one of the most respected accreditations in the nation. It is a Joint Commission certified primary stroke center and has Commission on Cancer accreditation. Martin Medical Center is an eight-time national winner of the national Truven 100 Top Hospitals recognition, which evaluates 3,000 short-term acute care, non-federal hospitals in the United States and a two-time awardee of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in the nation. The Orthopaedic Specialty Center at Martin Health System has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for disease-specific care certification for joint replacement of the knee and hip.
Nemours Children Health Care System is currently seeking Board Certified /Board Eligible Neonatologists to work part-time at Martin Health System, located in Port St. Lucie, FL , and Stuart, FL. Responsibilities include attending deliveries, rounding on newborns and supporting the Level II NICUs at Traditions Medical Center (10 beds) and Martin North Medical Center (5 beds). NNP (Neonatal Nurse Practitioners) will be in-house 24/7 at Traditions Medical Center. The team will be supported by an on-site coordinator. Tradition Medical Center is proud to collaborate with Nemours Children’s Health System to provide the patients and families of their community access to high quality specialized pediatric care from providers dedicated to serving the area.
