A Research Associate position is immediately available within the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This position will work under the guidance of several talented clinicians and will play a key role in forwarding their research missions.
The successful applicant will employ a strong scientific background, understanding of the research process, and experience in the creation of scholarly works to assist clinicians with their research initiatives.
This is an ideal position for the candidate who wishes to focus on expanding their experience with the grant and manuscript preparation and writing process.
We seek a highly motivated individual with a Masters in cell biology, biochemistry, anatomy, or a closely related field. PhD (or completion of PhD within three years) strongly preferred.
Masters level candidates must have at least three years of documented, related experience.
The candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication, and scientific writing skills.
While working under the direction of our faculty, the candidate must also be able to effectively prioritize and work independently on assigned tasks.
